Prior to tryouts, join the #FreezeFamily for open gyms. Get to meet the coaches, get comfortable, and get practice ahead of tryouts. $5.00/per player.
2023 Fall League
Freeze Volleyball presents a youth in-house fall league for grades 1-8!
If you are interested in learning more about volleyball join us to develop your skills, compete and have fun! Our fall league will offer a series of developmental practices on Monday evenings and in-house games on Saturday mornings.
New SAQ Trainer
We’re working with a new trainer at Athletic Gaines (AG) named Kevin Brown (a.k.a Coach KB)
Coach KB is passionate about helping athletes excel in their respective sport and life. Coach KB’s passion is driven by past experiences as a dedicated athlete and the aspirations of giving student-athletes the best opportunity to succeed. Coach KB’s goal is to assist and guide athletes to reach their goals by providing years of experience, knowledge, and expertise. Coach KB is arguably one of the most renowned Speed, Agility, Power, and Quickness programs around developing talent of all levels, sports, and abilities.
New SAQ Format
New this year, we’ll be doing performance testing at the start, middle and end of the season.
Our goal with performance testing is to continually assess our players growth and development (both volleyball skills and physical performance). With performance testing, we will be able to identify opportunities for player’s growth and celebrate accomplishments throughout the season.
Practice + Skills Coordinator
New to this season, we'll have a lead practice and skills coordinator who will constantly working with our coaches and players to make sure everyone is on the same page and developing their individual and team skills.
Skills Training Coach
We'll be offering weekly skills training on top of regular practices with Minnesota Gopher volleyball player - Ellie Husemann
